By speaking each word aloud, it enables testing and practice without relying solely on written words. With a comprehensive searchable spelling dictionary, you can easily add words to your personal word list, minimizing entry errors.

Spelling Notebook Features:

Over 100,000 words available in the built-in spelling dictionary, with the ability to add new words as needed.
The built-in voice feature can pronounce any word from the extensive dictionary and newly added English words.
Record your own voice to practice specific words or phrases. This feature helps with word recognition.
Multiple English regions supported: UK, US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Earn stars for correctly spelled words.
Create and manage multiple word lists.
Edit word lists by adding or deleting words, renaming lists, or deleting entire lists.
Import words from one list to another for easy organization.
Words are selected from a comprehensive dictionary to minimize errors during entry.
In-app help available to provide guidance and support.
Copy and paste word lists for quick input.
Review history of word list tests and practice sessions.
Email test results directly from the app.

The spelling dictionary automatically adjusts based on your region. For countries outside of the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, the UK spelling dictionary is selected by default.

Please note that recording words on iPod touch models prior to the 4th generation requires an external microphone. The app will prompt you to connect one if it detects no microphone available.
